Job Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
- Plan routes according to customer locations
- Deliver goods in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
- Follow applicable traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Communicate with dispatch about any delays or issues that arise during the route
- Obtain signature proof of deliveries; collect appropriate payment when necessary
- Record delivery information such as items delivered, time of delivery, address of the destination, etc.
- Report any accidents or vehicle malfunctions to the dispatcher immediately
- Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times
- Follow company policies and procedures while on the job
