Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments and therapies.
  • Order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on preventive health care, lifestyle modifications and treatment options.
